Qualification: B.E / B.Tech in Aeronautical, AME

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Create and update AMM tasks in accordance with ATA iSpec 2200 / S1000D and customer authoring standards.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, Service Bulletins (SBs), Engineering Orders (EOs), and other technical documents to develop maintenance procedures.
  • Prepare and validate illustration requests (IRs) ensuring alignment between procedures and visuals.
  • Conduct self-checks and peer reviews to ensure technical accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Incorporate modifications, design updates, and revision changes into AMM content.
  • Collaborate with engineering and configuration teams for technical clarification and verification.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems.
  • Proficiency in ATA iSpec 2200 and/or S1000D authoring standards.
  • Hands-on experience with authoring tools such as Arbortext Editor, FrameMaker, TechSight, Corena Studio, or Oxygen XML Editor.
  • Familiarity with illustration tools (IsoDraw, CorelDraw, or equivalent).
  • Good knowledge of part numbering systems, effectivity control, and document configuration.
