Senior Financial Clerk

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our finance and operations team.
This role requires strong knowledge of Australian bookkeeping, accounting standards, and taxation rules, along with excellent English communication skills.
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records in compliance with Australian accounting standards.
- Assist with Business Activity Statements (BAS), Goods and Services Tax (GST), and other tax-related filings.
- Process payroll and superannuation contributions as required.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with accountants to prepare financial reports and ensure compliance.
- Manage invoicing, receipts, and expense tracking.
Key Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience preferably with Australian clients or companies.
- Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or MYOB.
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of BAS, GST, superannuation, and other Australian compliance requirements.
- Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) with clear, professional, and confident communication skills.
- Work Style: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Mindset: Sharp, analytical, and proactive problem-solving skills.
