UAT Test Manager Position

This role involves overseeing the end-to-end User Acceptance Testing process, leading a team of test analysts and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • Lead and manage the overall UAT strategy, planning, and execution, coordinating effectively across multiple teams and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Independently plan and define UAT phases, structuring the UAT team and resources efficiently to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Work closely with Project Managers (PMs), Product Owners (POs), Business Analysts (BAs), and other transformation test managers/leads to meticulously plan and execute UAT activities.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and report on potential risks and their impact on UAT, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Take complete ownership of the UAT outcome for Guidewire Cloud implementations.
  • Manage, mentor, and guide a team of Test Analysts, overseeing their deliverables and providing hands-on support and guidance whenever required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in software testing, with significant experience in UAT management.
  • Preferably possess strong experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, specifically with Motor/Fleet Claims.
  • Guidewire platform experience (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter) is highly beneficial.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage complex projects, and drive results.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
