Senior Logistics Consultant

Job Overview:

The role of WMS Consultant involves serving as a liaison between business users and IT departments, supporting IT projects and daily monitoring and issue resolution. This position requires understanding client business processes, requirements, and mapping them to the Oracle EBS system for optimal functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle tickets and application support for end-users, analyzing and resolving issues efficiently.">
• Transfer complex issues to development teams with detailed inputs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion.">
• Raise SRs with Oracle support teams and coordinate until closure.">
• Prepare MD050/MD060 documents, test cases, and test data for customizations.">
• Coordinate with Leads/Managers/Key users and other teams for issue resolutions and obtain sign-off for releases.">
• Train end-users, prepare training materials, and update process documents as needed.">
• Collaborate with other module consultants, technical consultants, DBAs, and developers.">
• Provide daily production support, including monitoring, incident management, problem management, and service request management.">
• Offer 24x5 on-call assistance for production business system issues, with occasional weekend support.">
• Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities as required.">
• Become a subject matter expert in system management.">
• Assume responsibility for tasks and ensure timely completion.">
• Identify opportunities for process improvement through system automation and alerts.">
• Review requirements and recommend solutions.">
• Create and maintain documentation of assigned systems and process flow.">
• Meet Service Level Agreements for Incident and Problem Management.">
• Analyze and design long-term solutions for business improvements.">
• Work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when necessary.">
• Focus primarily on clearing logistics issues related to picking, shipping, cycle counting, receiving, etc.">
• Clear stuck transactions related to Shipping/Receiving for Month/Quarter/Year Ends.">
• Become SME on Logistics Track and share knowledge across the team.">

Technical Requirements:

• ">
• 6-8 years of experience in Oracle Apps.">
• Experienced Oracle Apps Oracle R12 WMS Consultant with expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite WMS, MSCA, and Inventory modules.">
• Worked in at least one full implementation cycle on Oracle Apps.">
• Designed business processes, analyzed functional requirements, and provided suitable solutions applying industry best practices.">
• Coordinated with Warehouse Teams and facilitated fast closure.">
• Conducted workshops for business owners, configured applications, and documented throughout the implementation life cycle.">
• Expert-level knowledge in Oracle WMS Inbound Logistics, Inventory Control, Task Management, Outbound Logistics, MSCA.">
• Expert-level knowledge of interactions between WMS applications and Oracle eBS Financials, Procurement, Manufacturing, ASCP, Logistics Applications.">
• Understood WMS and MSCA technical architecture and communicated with technical associates for development.">
• Good understanding of warehouse, barcoding, and shop floor transactions.">
• Good understanding and experience integrating hand-held RF scanners and frequency devices with Oracle E-Business Suite modules.">
• Basic understanding of PL/SQL and customization of MSCA screens and WMS rules.">
