Quality Assurance Specialist

This is a 6-month internship position for a detail-oriented and analytical Quality Assurance Specialist. You will work on ensuring high product quality, identifying issues, and improving user experience while collaborating closely with developers and cross-functional teams.

About the Role
  • You will perform functional, UI, regression, and integration testing on web applications.
  • You will design, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test reports.
  • You will identify, log, and track bugs, coordinating with developers for timely resolutions.
  • You will validate features against acceptance criteria before deployment.
  • You will participate in Agile ceremonies like stand-ups and sprint planning.
  • You will maintain QA documentation and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
  • You have experience with React & TypeScript (fundamentals and practical exposure).
  • You have experience with REST API testing using Postman (or similar tools).
  • You have experience with React Testing Library & Jest for UI and unit testing.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have familiarity with QA methodologies, STLC, and bug lifecycle.
  • You have knowledge of test case management/defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
  • You have good communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
  • You have exposure to Redux Toolkit, React Router, and component libraries like Material UI (MUI).
  • You have basic experience with automation testing (Selenium, Playwright).
  • You have familiarity with Git and Agile/Scrum practices.
