Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. This is a critical role that will require strong analytical skills, business acumen, and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop annual budgets and forecasts, and provide insights to senior management
  • Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and make recommendations to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather input and ensure accuracy in budgeting and forecasting

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead the development of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, working closely with teams to gather input and ensure accuracy. Activities include finalizing master budgets, updating sales projections, and reporting on sales budget for all channels.

Reporting & MIS:

Responsible for reporting, analyzing, and continuously monitoring sales accounts. Regular financial reports, including variance analysis, track performance against budget and identify key trends.

Performance Monitoring:

Track key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze variances, and identify areas for improvement.

Strategic Business Partnering:

Develop and maintain financial models to assess the financial impact of new programs, initiatives, and funding opportunities. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business objectives.

P&L & Audit:

Responsible for channel-wise P&L and audit.

Requirements:

  1. A qualified Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of experience, preferably in FMCG sector, out of which 4-6 years in FP&A role
  2. Proficiency in building and using financial models to analyze data and project future financial performance
  3. Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions
  4. Experience in developing and managing budgets and forecasts, including variance analysis
  5. Ability to understand the broader business context and make recommendations that align with strategic goals
  6. Excellent communication skills, proficient in use of financial management software, SAP module, MS Office etc.
