Job Title: Experienced Database Professional

We are seeking a skilled Experienced Database Professional to manage and support MS SQL Database.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring database logs and event files for potential issues.
  • Maintaining DR Database availability through regular monitoring and reporting.
  • Managing database replication, log shipping, and link servers.
  • Purging database logs and trace files on a regular basis.
  • Reviewing configurations periodically to ensure consistency.
  • Providing monthly reports on database availability.
  • Troubleshooting DB performance issues and communicating with stakeholders.
  • Creating jobs and schedules for routine maintenance and rebuilding indexes.
  • Defragmentation of databases and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Team management experience.
  • Incident handling and root cause analysis.
  • Database installation and troubleshooting.
  • Always ON Cluster configuration and management.
  • Failover Cluster Management.
  • Patching and Failover cluster and Always ON.
  • Replication and Link Server configuration.
  • Database Patching and Hardening.
