Job Title: Desktop Support Specialist

Location: Bangalore

Work Mode: Hybrid Work Model

Experience: 3+ years

Job Type: Contract to Hire (C2H)

Mandatory Skills:

Dedicated IT Professional – Shift Work

Shift Details


• Rotational 24/7 support including night shifts weekends and public holidays


• Must be flexible to work in three shifts: Morning Evening and Night

Key Responsibilities


• Provide round-the-clock technical support for desktops laptops and peripherals


• Monitor and respond to incidents via ticketing system within Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines


• Perform remote troubleshooting and escalate unresolved issues


• Support users across different time zones and ensure minimal downtime


• Maintain logs of shift activities and handover reports for continuity


• Collaborate with global IT teams for coordinated support


• Provide technical support for desktops laptops printers and other peripherals


• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues both onsite and remotely


• Install configure and upgrade operating systems and applications


• Respond to user tickets and resolve issues related to Windows Mac or Linux environments


• Maintain logs of support requests resolutions and system updates


• Assist in setting up new systems and user accounts


• Collaborate with IT teams to escalate unresolved issues


• Ensure timely updates and patches for systems and applications


• Train users on basic IT procedures and best practices


• Maintain inventory of IT assets and ensure compliance with company policies
