Structured Credit/Rates Trading is an extension of regional Global Markets teams supporting Equities, Securitized Products, Rates, FX, and Credit. The Powai operation supports a range of activities like research, quantitative modelling, sales and trading support, pricing, balancing, product development, and strategy.

We are seeking an Analyst/Associate who will work closely with global trading desks facing dynamic markets and aggressive deadlines. The role involves:

  • Assessing value and risk in tandem with traders
  • Developing knowledge of global financial products and models
  • Answering client requests, including data requests and bespoke model design
  • Performing trade modelling, strategy selection, and performance analysis
  • Building infrastructure to implement new models and maintain existing ones
  • Collaborating with sales, traders, and structurers to execute trades and perform post-trade analysis
  • Converting market knowledge into understandable investment opinions and making relative value recommendations
  • Remaining current on market and commercial developments to inform investment strategies
  • Supporting senior management in preparing pitches for internal committees and management packs
