About the Role

As a Cloud Architect, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the development of a cloud center of excellence. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring its security, scalability, and efficiency.

This position requires a deep understanding of cloud technologies, architecture principles, and best practices, combined with strong leadership and communication skills. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate cloud-based solutions that meet business needs and drive innovation.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Troubleshooting and resolving issues across development, testing, and production environments
  • Managing cloud services, working with internal teams to ensure system availability meets project requirements
  • Designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms
  • Providing guidance and technical expertise on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization
  • Developing scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Certification in cloud engineering, such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of cloud administration experience, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail
  • 3+ years deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions
