Job Title: Cloud Data Solutions EngineerJob Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Data Solutions Engineer to join our data team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud data services, data pipelines, and big data processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory.
  • Manage and optimize data storage in Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2).
  • Work with Azure Databricks (PySpark/Scala) for large-scale data processing.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models in Azure Synapse / SQL DB.
  • Implement real-time/streaming data solutions using Event Hubs, Kafka, or Stream Analytics.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with business and analytics teams to deliver insight-ready data solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong exposure to Azure ecosystem.
  • Expertise in Azure Data Factory, Databricks, ADLS, Synapse Analytics.
  • Strong SQL programming and data modeling skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Python/PySpark (Scala is a plus).
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL/ELT design patterns.
  • Experience with DevOps (Git, CI/CD), monitoring, and performance tuning.
