Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence (BI) developer to join our team. As a BI developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.

Your primary focus will be on ensuring that all our systems are up and running and performing optimally. This includes Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, and Grafana. You will also be supporting automation of Platform Infrastructure related processes using PowerShell, Python, and other tools to help platform stability and scalability.

You will perform troubleshooting of platform-related issues and other complex issues with cloud BI solutions. This includes Windows & Linux servers, IIS, Application Gateways, Firewall, and Networks, as well as Complex SQL.

Additionally, you will be involved in multiple aspects of the development lifecycle – design, cloud engineering (Infrastructure, network, security, and administration, data modeling, testing, performance tuning, deployments, consumption, BI, alerting, prod support.

You will provide technical leadership and collaborate within a team environment as well as work independently. You will also be part of a DevOps team that completely owns and supports their product.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS / MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience / training
  • 3 years business intelligence development using agile, DevOps, operating in a product model that includes designing, developing, and implementing large-scale applications or data engineering solutions.
  • 3+ Yrs of Experience into Cognos/ Alteryx Administration
