Job Description:

Senior Data Engineer sought to design, develop and implement robust data-intensive solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in GCP data services and be responsible for designing, developing and implementing data pipelines on GCP Cloud.

This role requires a deep understanding of data engineering, strong SQL skills, and extensive experience with various GCP services like Bigquery, DataFlow, DataStream, Pub/Sub, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and other related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and developing data-intensive solutions using GCP Cloud
  • Developing and deploying applications on GCP
  • Overseeing the lifecycle management of applications on GCP
  • Leveraging services like Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and other related technologies
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of robust and insightful data pipelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • 5-8 years of overall IT experience, with 2-3 years of hands-on experience designing and developing data applications on GCP Cloud
  • Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform services and architectures
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
