Job Title: Cloud Solutions Engineer

Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and architecting public cloud solutions, preferably on AWS. They should be able to translate business requirements into implementable patterns for the engineering team.

Responsibilities include defining solution standards, providing technical thought leadership, and assisting pre-sales teams with effort estimation for client proposals.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for project management activities such as solution estimation, work breakdown structure, setting project schedules, and sending project status reports to clients.

They must have good knowledge of core infrastructure domains like Networking, Compute, Security, Backup, and Monitoring. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools, scripting languages, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tools is also required.

Additionally, they should have exposure to containers and container orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, or any cloud-managed Kubernetes services. Experience with AWS Serverless technology, cloud security posture assessment, and AWS Well-Architected Framework is highly desirable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
  • 8+ years of experience in the industry with good exposure to Cloud, DevOps, and Automation
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and architecting public cloud solutions, preferably on AWS
  • Certified in Solutions Architect Professional and/or Specialty in AWS
