Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant to design, develop and implement custom SAP solutions with strong expertise in ABAP programming. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining custom SAP ABAP programs, enhancements, reports and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test and maintain custom SAP ABAP programs, enhancements, reports and interfaces.
  • Work on RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize and improve existing SAP applications for performance and scalability.
  • Debug and resolve issues in SAP standard/custom programs.
  • Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and coding standards.
  • Support SAP upgrades, migrations and integration projects.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical reviews.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 7–10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience.
  • SAP Core ABAP experience is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of RICEF objects, BAPIs, BADIs and User Exits.
  • Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, AMDPs, OData services.
  • Experience with SAP UI5/Fiori integration (added advantage).
  • Strong debugging and performance tuning skills.
  • Good understanding of SAP modules (SD, MM, FI, PP etc.) and their integration points.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • SAP ABAP certification.
