SAP S/4 HANA MM/Inventory/Logistics Specialist Job Opportunity

Job Title: SAP S/4 HANA MM/Inventory/Logistics Specialist

Duration: 2 months with a possibility of extension up to an additional month.

Scope: High level scope involves integrating S4 PO, STO, Production orders, Material MD with a third-party supplier using OData API Integration.


Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Developing and implementing supply planning processes within S/4 HANA by defining, building, configuring, documenting, testing, and delivering business requirements specifications.
  • Supporting and implementing global rollout at an enterprise scale of S/4 HANA delivering supply planning business solutions in partnership with various teams within IT.
  • Applying agile/scrum practices in the oversight of support and delivery of features and capabilities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Working closely with ABAP developers to design and validate custom developments, reports, and interfaces.
  • Identifying continuous improvement and optimization opportunities within the scope of supply planning processes and participating in their prioritization, implementation, and completion.
  • Operating in close partnership with the IT and business communities, subject matter experts, external consultants, and cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science, business, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Overall 5+ years of experience in SAP S4 implementation with at least 5 years implementing SAP MM and Logistics.
  • Experience with 2-3 full life cycle implementations in SAP S4 with deep focus on configuration, E2E testing, and implementation.
  • Experience with OData services for enabling real-time data access and integration with external applications.
  • Knowledge and experience of master data distribution of work centers/resources, production versions, PDS.
  • Deep knowledge of MRP views of material master data.
  • Basic ABAP knowledge: functional specification creation, basic debugging, testing, etc.
  • Implementation experience with interfaces to/from Kinaxis is highly desirable.
