Job Title: Assistant Treasury Manager

This role is a crucial part of our organization, focusing on treasury operations for our global platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for cash flow management, banking, and credit/debit arrangements, investments/wealth management, Forex hedging, CMS process, providing business solutions for customer/vendor financing, and O2C and P2P process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash management and banking operations, including Forex risk mitigation and hedging.
  • Managing relationships with financial institutions, liaising with bankers and wealth advisors to optimize treasury performance.
  • Setting up policies, controls, and procedures to enhance internal processes and drive operational efficiency.
  • Preparing and monitoring company cash forecasts and cash flows, managing day-to-day banking, daily/monthly cash flow reporting, and balance confirmation coordination.
  • Audits, including statutory, internal, and special audits, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinating with wealth management teams of banks and financial institutions to maximize returns on investments within established guidelines.
  • Minimizing currency risk/Forex exposure by timely securing hedges, setting up inter-company cross-currency exchange, and ensuring accurate reporting.
  • Risk management, covering all risks, including Forex, fixed assets, cash, inventory, etc.
  • Negotiating and evaluating limits, overdrafts, loans, debt structures, and investments with bankers to secure favorable terms.
  • Evaluating, developing, and implementing cash management and other systems to optimize efficiency and cost.
Requirements:
  • Treasury knowledge: Understanding and hands-on experience in the treasury function, including cash flow management, various financial instruments, risk management process, Forex management, liquidity, investment/wealth management, etc.
  • Financial knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of banking setup and processes, financial markets, Forex, treasury risks, financial instruments, debt instruments, etc.
    • Sound understanding of accounting principles.
  • Stakeholder management:
    • Banking/insurance relationships and understanding of covenants.
    • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a broader team.
    • Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.
