Music Placement Specialist Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled Music Placement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for pitching our music catalogue to music supervisors, advertising agencies, music libraries, production houses, and brands to secure commercial sync placements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pitching our multi-genre music catalogue to potential clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with music supervisors, creative directors, producers, and sync teams globally
  • Tracking and managing all pitches, leads, and placements to ensure visibility on opportunities
  • Exploring secondary business opportunities for catalogue songs, including pitching to labels, artists, and producers for covers, remixes, and collaborations
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest sync trends, industry requests, and content needs across entertainment and advertising

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in securing sync placements and building strong relationships with music industry professionals
  • Strong research skills for identifying potential sync opportunities
  • Contract management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with an entrepreneurial mindset

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Communications, Marketing, or related field preferred. Familiarity with the global underground music scene is a plus.
