We are seeking a seasoned investment operations professional to join our team. As an Investment Operations Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our Mumbai team, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality deliverables.

You will liaise with external stakeholders, including fund administrators, investment managers, and auditors, to drive process improvement initiatives that enhance quality and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and fund reports, executing investor capital calls and distributions, supporting the audit of funds, and maintaining knowledge of fund structures and portfolio solutions.

As a strong risk-focused individual, you will develop processes that are controlled and oversee a robust oversight model. You will also ensure accurate maintenance of supporting procedures, on-board new team members, and provide refresher training.

Additionally, you will research investment regulations and fund structures, interpret key points, and summarize them in a clear and concise manner to aid training and development.

You will cover work items for team members during times of absence, challenge existing processes, and encourage team members to do the same to remove inefficiencies.

The successful candidate will lead all reporting, regulatory filings, and oversight responsibilities while ensuring compliance deadlines and internal SLAs are met.

This role requires a minimum of 6 years' experience in funds or asset management, with a strong understanding of core fund operations, including fund accounting, middle office, and transfer agency.

Experience in private markets/private equity fund accounting is essential, along with a proactivity and desire to see things done efficiently via a 'right first time' approach.

A strong academic background in accounting/finance/economics or related field is required, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

You must be able to absorb new information quickly, prioritize workload effectively, and drive and deliver your own work.
