Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and reporting alerts from network devices
  • Working on raised tickets/alerts from the ITSM tool: identifying faults, assigning severity, following troubleshooting procedures, and ensuring timely closure
  • Handling fault management with service providers for network-related issues: initiating trouble tickets, following up until resolution, escalating if required
  • Coordinating with L2 engineers for issue resolution and change management
  • Performing network-related changes on network devices as per defined SOP
  • Preparing and maintaining network-related reports such as branch down call reports and bandwidth utilization reports
  • Monitoring and managing the network infrastructure
  • Providing escalation support for L1 (Zonal Engineers); escalating issues to L2/L3 engineers if not resolved
  • Receiving calls from branches, raising tickets (if not already available), and sharing the ticket number
  • Adding new network devices into the network and ensuring they are recorded in the asset management system
  • Following up with engineers at Zonal Offices/Field teams to restore network uptime
  • Following up for RMA replacements

Requirements:

  • Valid CCNA / JNCIA / CCNP Routing and Switching / Security certifications
  • OEM intermediate-level SD-WAN certification
  • 3+ years of experience in handling network operations
