Job Overview: Seeking an experienced tax professional to lead our US business tax services.

A highly skilled and certified public accountant (CPA) and enrolled agent (EA) is required to oversee the preparation and signing of tax returns, provide strategic tax planning advice, review financials, bookkeeping, and develop efficient processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and sign tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and other entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest tax laws, regulations, and filing requirements, applying knowledge to minimize tax liabilities.
  • Conduct comprehensive tax research and analysis, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for tax optimization.

Tax Planning and Advisory:

  • Provide in-depth tax planning advice to clients, helping them navigate complex tax scenarios and identify cost-saving strategies.
  • Offer guidance on tax-efficient business structures, deductions, and credits, ensuring clients maximize their financial potential.

Bookkeeping and Financial Reporting:

  • Assist clients with bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions and timely reporting.
  • Generate financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements using industry-standard software, such as QuickBooks Online and Wave.
  • Perform periodic financial analysis, providing insights to clients and helping them make informed business decisions.

Project Delivery and Client Communication:

  • Work closely with clients to deliver high-quality tax returns and other projects, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
  • Establish strong relationships with clients, building trust and credibility through exceptional customer service.

Process Development and SOPs:

  • Develop and implement efficient processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for firm operations, ensuring consistency and quality in service delivery.
  • Streamline workflow and identify areas for improvement, enhancing efficiency and productivity throughout the organization.

Mentoring and Training:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior employees, assisting in their professional development and career growth.
  • Conduct training sessions on tax regulations, software tools, and best practices, empowering team members to excel in their roles.
