Business Information Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual with strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills to join our Business Information Services team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will support onshore bankers in meeting their financial and qualitative information requirements across multiple sectors. This will involve providing company information packs, conducting research, and sourcing market data from various sources.

  • Supporting the onshore bankers in meeting their financial and qualitative information requirements across multiple sectors such as Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT), Energy, Real Estate, Automotive, Consumer Goods, Healthcare, and Banking.
  • Provision of Company information packs, comprising company filings, broker research, new runs, and other specified information.
  • Company and Sector Analysis: Conducting research and industry-specific or macro-economic analysis.
  • Filtering of relevant news related to Mergers and Acquisitions, management, material company announcements using Google or third-party paid sources.
  • Sourcing of market data such as share prices, currency, ratios covering all asset types and products from multiple third-party data sources.
  • Demonstrating strength and experience in client/requester relationship building and management, information/knowledge needs assessment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Expert knowledge on third-party sector and country-specific data sources such as Bloomberg, Thomson Eikon, Factiva, Capital IQ, Merger Market, Euromonitor, etc.
  • Understanding of financial concepts and awareness around different industries/sectors.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with clients and upscale library work.
  • Comfortable working in rotational shifts/night shifts.
