Job Title: Business Analyst (IAM)Generic Job Role: Business Analyst role within Identity and Access Management (IAM) department QUALIFICATION: Business and Information Technology/Computer Science/Master Degree Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience Nature of Experience: Customer Support/Technical Support/Access Admin/BAJob Purpose We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with 5–8 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a focus on manual discovery of Identity Provider (IDP) and API Gateway usage across the bank's applications.

This role requires gathering data from application teams, documenting API credential lifecycles, and supporting governance enforcement.

The ideal candidate will possess: A good understanding of IDP concepts, API authentication, and credential management Strong stakeholder engagement, analysis, and documentation skills These skills will be applied across various Business Analyst assignments within the IAM domain.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1.

Work closely with team members in Malaysia and Chennai, while engaging with application teams across the bank globally.2.

Lead the manual discovery of IDP and API gateway usage, as automated scans may not be available to detect integrations.3.

Reach out to application teams, consolidate and govern collected information, and build an accurate inventory of IDP/API usage.4.

Use questionnaires to capture details on authentication methods, credential lifecycles, and governance gaps.5.

Primary focus: understand and document how API credentials and authentication lifecycles are managed across applications.6.

After completing this discovery phase, move on to process documentation, operationalization, and supporting governance enforcement.7.

Prepare for integration into the future centralized technical solution.8.

Collaborate with IAM architects, product owners, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable and compliant onboarding solutions.9.

Support go-live activities, post-deployment troubleshooting, and periodic access automation validation checks.

Required Skills & Experience: Intermediate to advanced Knowledge on IT Information Security Good understanding of IAM control reviews Experience in user access administration model on various Application Experience in IAM projects, particularly around IDP and API security.

Good (Intermediate) understanding Agile methodology Effectively communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders to handover the transition efficiently Good experience in managing application & infrastructure related issues.

Good knowledge in project planning and risk management Escalation Management and Stakeholder Management Preferred Knowledge: Strong understanding of IDP (Identity Providers) and API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, SAML, API keys).

Knowledge of API credential lifecycle and governance practices.

Ability to conduct manual discovery, engage stakeholders, and capture complex technical flows.

Basic knowledge of IDP concepts is acceptable; deeper expertise can be developed during the project.
