Our company is a leading market player in artificial intelligence for governance, risk and compliance (GRC) and responsible AI.

We are expanding into solutions at the intersection of responsible AI and GRC — working directly with regulators, standards bodies and highly regulated industries to set the benchmark for trustworthy AI.

The Role:

As one of our earliest technical hires you will work alongside our responsible AI specialists and regulatory experts helping to translate governance and compliance principles into robust real-world technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and lead the architecture of new systems back-end APIs lightweight front-end.
  • Integrate open-source AI testing and assurance libraries into deployable frameworks.
  • Deliver lightweight portable solutions in cloud environments.
  • Build and rigorously test models against fairness robustness explainability and governance principles.
  • Implement reproducible pipelines for evaluation benchmarking and reporting.
  • Create dashboards and artefacts suitable for supervisors standards bodies and clients.
  • Partner with global responsible AI leaders who have shaped the EU AI Act OECD AI Principles and FCA guidance.
  • Translate complex governance and compliance requirements into practical engineering-led solutions.
  • Contribute to pilots client delivery and the long-term technical roadmap of our solutions.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record building training and evaluating AI/ML models industry research or advanced academic projects.
  • Experience developing or integrating AI testing and assurance tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and modern ML/AI libraries.
  • Experience with cloud computing AWS Azure or GCP and knowledge of scaling training and deployment of AI models.
  • Awareness of responsible AI frameworks EU AI Act NIST AI RMF FCA/ESMA guidance.
  • Hands-on familiarity with explainability and fairness tools e.g. SHAP LIME AIF360 ART.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to operate across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity self-drive and the ambition to grow into a senior technical leadership role.
  • A collaborative style someone who values kindness honesty and humility and doesn't take themselves too seriously.
