Job Opportunity: AI Applications Engineer

The organization is seeking an experienced AI administrator to drive the strategic implementation and governance of AI tools. This role requires precision, security, and compliance in executing AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage data privacy controls to prevent sensitive data from being used to train AI models.
  • Deliver comprehensive audit logs, compliance reporting, and monitoring for AI tool usage.
  • Implement robust guardrails and moderation tools to enhance the security and reliability of AI applications.
  • Track and analyze model performance and usage metrics, producing regular reports for leadership.
  • Optimize prompt engineering and evaluate cost/performance trade-offs to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to API calls, latency, and integration failures.
  • Maintain a detailed internal guide with setup/configuration steps, governance rules, and best practices for AI tool management.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge bases and wikis for developers and end-users.
  • Deliver training sessions for IT staff to expand their expertise in managing AI tools.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in AI applications engineering or a related role.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in AI tools, particularly OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google Gemini.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in configuring and managing AI tool environments securely and effectively.
