About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to oversee the design, development and implementation of our platform infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for enhancing scalability, reliability and efficiency in our services and applications.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless platform operations and drive technical innovations. You will lead efforts to automate deployment processes and improve infrastructure management, monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and proactively address potential bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of platform services to support application development and deployment.
  • Implement automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiencies.
  • Monitor system performance, make recommendations for improvements and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Mandatory Skills

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience as a Platform Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of platform architecture and design principles.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java or Go.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
  • Understanding of networking concepts and services, including load balancing, DNS and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Dynatrace).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps methodologies.
