Job Title: Data Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background and be able to work with complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data and analyze results using statistical, logical and analytical techniques.
  • Provide ongoing reports on the effects of different strategies and observe any trends or issues to raise with data operations.
  • Acquire data from different data sources, identify and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Work with large and often complex data sets, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate and interpret trends and important information.
  • Review reports and key performance indicators to correct any code problems and check the efficiency of the data collection processes in place.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working with data in a business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of banking and lending data (specifically, Consumer Services Database) and business problems in banking and lending.
  • Experience in credit risk analytics domain is preferred.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor.
  • Manipulate large amounts of data and integrate diverse data sources into solutions.

  • Self-starter with high energy levels and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to work in project-based engagements across different kinds of banking clients.
  • Experience in SQL, Big Query, Data Modeling and Mining in a Hadoop/GCP environment.
  • Experience in Data Warehousing projects.
  • Exposure to handle large amounts of data.
  • BFSI domain knowledge mandatory.
