About the Role:

The role involves leading the design configuration and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications across manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions, ensuring seamless integration of OT systems with enterprise IT systems.

  • Develop and maintain secure, efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA protocols.
  • Manage industrial databases, SQL historian, and timeseries databases for high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to align system capabilities with production and business needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with Ignition SCADA Inductive Automation is mandatory. Proven expertise in scripting module configuration and project deployment is essential.

Strong background in MES functions, production tracking, OEE downtime analysis, traceability, SPC, etc., is required.

Proficiency with database technologies such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent is necessary.

Hands-on experience with OT/IT integration technologies, REST APIs for system interconnectivity, MQTT for IIoT messaging, and lightweight communication, OPC UA for industrial interoperability is required.

Knowledge of industrial control systems, PLC, SCADA HMIs, and plant floor connectivity, familiarity with manufacturing standards ISA95, ISA88, ISA99, IEC 62443 is necessary.

  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are required.
  • Experience with cloud-based IIoT platforms Azure IoT, AWS IoT, etc., knowledge of cybersecurity best practices in OT environments, and familiarity with containerization, Docker Kubernetes for SCADAMES deployments is necessary.
