Job Overview

The Middle Office Analyst is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for overseeing daily transaction management, security master creation and maintenance across diverse asset classes, reference data management, and asset servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding: Define scope, integrate with client's Order Management System (OMS), conduct testing, and ensure proper sign-off.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Perform tasks, resolve exceptions, and provide timely responses to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with Client Ops teams, Investment Managers, and Data Vendors to resolve day-to-day exceptions and develop strategic initiatives.
  • Consultation: Consult with internal functions like Pricing and Trade Accounting to resolve discrepancies and respond to internal queries.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation of new and established workflows.
  • Technology Support: Assist Technology teams in special projects, report development, specification writing, product implementation, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Requirements
  • 3-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with strong knowledge of financial products across asset classes - equities, fixed income, commodities, FX, and Credit.
  • MBA and/or CFA, preferably.
  • In-depth understanding of the trade life cycle.
  • Familiarity with data sources like Refinitiv, Bloomberg, IDC, Markit, etc.
  • Experience integrating with various trade execution systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, think initiative-takingly, and possess solid organizational skills.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Effective oral/written communication skills.
  • Capacity to work under pressure and take on additional operational responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SQ.
  • Experience in VBA/Python is an advantage.
