IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned IT professional to oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's IT infrastructure. This includes managing office systems, networks, and security protocols to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and uptime.

Responsibilities:
  • IT Infrastructure Management:
  • Develop, implement, and manage company-wide IT infrastructure solutions for maximum efficiency and productivity.
  • Office Setup and Maintenance:
  • Lead and execute comprehensive IT setup for new office locations, including internet connectivity, LAN/WAN configurations, server and workstation installations, printer/scanner setup, and IT asset procurement.
  • Technical Support & Helpdesk Oversight:
  • Provide Level 1 & 2 support to internal users, manage tickets, and ensure timely resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Network Administration:
  • Configure, monitor, and maintain network devices (routers, firewalls, switches) for secure and stable network connectivity across departments.
  • Asset and Inventory Management:
  • Maintain accurate records of IT assets, ensure proper tracking, warranty renewals, AMC contracts, and periodic audits.
  • Vendor Coordination:
  • Collaborate with external vendors for procurement, AMC, ISP support, and managed services.
  • Data Security and Compliance:
  • Ensure cybersecurity protocols, firewalls, antivirus, backup strategies, and data protection policies are strictly implemented and followed.
  • Software and License Management:
  • Manage installation, configuration, and updates of business software; monitor license usage and renewals.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Maintain detailed documentation of IT procedures, configurations, and issue resolution logs. Generate regular IT performance reports for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
  • 5-10 + years of experience in related field
  • Experience in information technology space and solving various software and hardware problems
  • Strong technical problem solving and communication skills
  • Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+, MCSE, CCNA, or ITIL (preferred)
  • Resident of Gurugram or willing to relocate
