Job Overview

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in strategic financial planning and management within the FMCG industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and track capital expenditure budgets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of project proposals, providing recommendations for approval or rejection.
  • Analyse large-scale investments to determine ROI, NPV, IRR, and payback periods.
  • Measure actual project performance versus forecasts and identify lessons learned.

Requirements:

  • Highly organised and responsive individual with ability to work to SLAs and tight deadlines.
  • Numerate and a lateral thinker with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with operations, engineering, and strategy teams to vet capital initiatives.
  • Compare actual financial performance vs. budgets/forecasts and explain deviations.
  • Support the annual operating plan (AOP) process by developing and tracking key performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of experience in finance and planning.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a business environment.
  • Bachelor's/master's degree in commerce/business administration/economics with high level of finance & accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems (SAP, MS Office, etc.)
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English language.
