Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Community Engagement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in building and maintaining strong relationships with community members within our project areas.

You will be responsible for fostering trust and participation among the community, ensuring that all activities are on track, and identifying any deviations. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively engage with stakeholders, including government bodies, NGOs, and other specialized institutions.

In this role, you will also develop new project proposals to secure external funding and contribute to our annual plan. You will handle interactions with visitors to our project sites or office, providing necessary information and coordination.

Required Skills
  • Good knowledge of SHG (Self-Help Group) functions and governance models.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to promote a knowledge-sharing and learning culture within our organization.
  • Cultural, gender, and religion sensitivity and adaptability.
  • Treats all people fairly without favoritism.
  • Strong team player.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize and plan.
