Operations Excellence Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations Excellence Manager to drive innovation, set up processes, and execute operational and supply chain excellence in our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure seller/vendor operational performance delivery on inbound and inventory health operations aligns with targets.
  • Lead execution for key inbound and inventory health operations excellence programs.
  • Identify and articulate strategic importance of metrics as a basis for managing trade-offs, improving customer experience, and making decisions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with vendor operations teams on strategies to reduce cost, lead time, and waste across the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Define, prioritize, and monitor program/project execution to achieve targets delivered on time.
  • Create, write, and review business cases, perform supporting research and analysis, write specifications, and drive product development schedule from strategy to execution.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel.
  • 4+ years of supply chain, inventory management, or project management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of professional/military experience.
  • Knowledge of principles of statistical inventory control.
  • Experience with process improvement techniques such as Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma.
