Quality Assurance Engineer

The role of a Quality Assurance Engineer is to ensure that software applications meet the required standards of quality, reliability, and performance. This involves executing tests, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute manual and automated testing to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Develop and maintain test cases, test scripts, and other relevant documentation.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing tasks.
  • Analyze and report defects to facilitate timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the development of test automation frameworks and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a quality assurance engineer, software tester, or similar role with expertise in manual and automated testing.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
  • Experience with bug tracking and project management tools.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools.

You will work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, requiring excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. A curious mindset with a willingness to learn new technologies and testing tools is essential for success in this role.
