About the Role

As a Software Test Engineer, you will be responsible for identifying how your test teams align within an organization and achieving the roadmap identified for the program.

You will need to identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements and create a Test Plan after discussions with the test team and test manager for the releases.

Your key responsibilities include identifying the testing effort required by calculating the sizing needed for the given release and planning the required effort for the same.

You will initiate the Test case design activity, review of the same and ensure that the review comments are incorporated. Additionally, you will analyze user's stories and use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility, execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression), responsible for Triage, RCA for the customer reported defects, and monitor the test progress by constantly assessing the work assigned to each of the resources and re-balance or re-allocate them as required.

This role requires a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including waterfall and agile approaches, as well as experience in automation tools such as Selenium/Cucumber.

Required Qualifications:

  • Any graduation with at least 3+ years of experience as a software tester in a reputed IT organization
  • Currently working/has worked as a software tester in an established IT organization for at least 2 years
  • Able to demonstrate adequate knowledge of banking domain
  • Willingness and ability to learn Digital Banking
