Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Manual Automation QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our software products. You will collaborate with developers, architect, product managers, and other stakeholders to test and validate software functionality, identify issues, and ensure that products meet user expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering excellent software experiences.

Role Responsibilities: -

Test Planning & Execution: - Develop and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project requirements and product specifications. - Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web, mobile, and desktop applications.

Bug Identification & Reporting: - Identify, document, and report defects using an issue tracking system (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla). - Provide detailed defect descriptions and steps to reproduce for the development team. - Re-test fixed defects to confirm resolution. Proficient in non-functional testing, including performance, security, and compatibility testing across various browsers, devices, and platforms.

Collaboration & Communication: - Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure proper test coverage. - Actively participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups, providing updates on testing progress.

Test Documentation & Reporting: - Maintain and update test cases, test scripts, and test documentation to ensure proper tracking of testing efforts. - Prepare regular test reports and metrics to communicate testing progress and outcomes.

Continuous Improvement: - Provide feedback on processes and workflows to improve the overall quality assurance process. - Stay updated with the latest QA practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Minimum Requirements: - Education & Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). - Proven experience in manual and automation testing, ideally more than 3 years in a similar QA role. - Experience with testing web and mobile applications.

Technical Skills: - Proficiency in writing detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts. - Strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and different testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall). - Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA). And hands-on over Jenkins - Familiarity with basic SQL queries to validate database and data consistency.

Soft Skills: - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. - Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Basic experience in test automation using Java, with hands-on knowledge of frameworks such as Selenium and Appium to create, maintain, and execute effective automation scripts Preferred (optional): - Experience with automated testing tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, QTP). - Basic understanding of performance and security testing.
