Commerce Platform Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Commerce Platform Engineer to design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance eCommerce platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement Magento 2 solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and integrate APIs for ERP, CRM, and third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with architects to create standardized processes and reusable solutions.
  • Lead technical discussions with sales teams and prospects/customers to identify requirements and integration strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience with PHP and Magento, including 2+ years with Magento 2.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Design Patterns.
  • Hands-on experience in LAMP/LEMP stack, MySQL, and JSON/XML data formats.
  • Expertise in shopping cart development, payment gateway, and shipping integration.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Fluent in English with ability to articulate commerce value propositions.
  • Proven experience in mentoring teams and providing technical guidance.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience in working with open-source libraries and frameworks.
  • Exposure to agile/scrum environments.
  • Knowledge of middleware and enterprise system integrations.
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
