About the Role

Oceaneering's India Center has been a vital part of its operations since 2003, offering diverse solutions across industries. Our multidisciplinary team provides a wide range of services, including Subsea Engineering, Robotics, Automation, and Control Systems.


Key Responsibilities

You will work under supervision to design, develop, and deploy industrialized solutions in the form of Siemens PLC-based Control Systems. Your tasks include assisting in the development of control logic and hardware for Remotely Operated Vehicles/Vessels (ROVs), Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), and similar Electro-mechanical offshore systems.


Key Deliverables
  • Design, development, run, and reporting on qualification tests for Siemens-based control equipment.
  • Development of block diagrams/layout drawings prepared by Drafters for mechanical, electrical, network, control, etc.
  • Work with various Siemens systems, including S7-1500F, ET 200SP, and TIA Portal.
  • Coordination of project deliveries and schedules with global teams.
  • Selection of suitable connectors, actuators, sensors, computational platforms, protection switch gear, and other elements of detail system design.

Qualifications

A degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or equivalent is required. Knowledge of Siemens Control System Software and Hardware, exposure to working on various network protocols, and experience in C and/or Python Programming are desired.
