We are seeking a seasoned Technology Product Owner to spearhead the development of innovative technology transfer solutions for the life sciences industry.

This role requires deep industry knowledge, product development expertise, and the ability to translate complex scientific requirements into effective technology solutions.

  • Drive the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for our technology transfer solutions portfolio
  • Collaborate with top-tier life sciences organizations to understand their technology transfer challenges and needs
  • Translate complex scientific and regulatory requirements into comprehensive product specifications
  • Prioritize features and capabilities based on market demands, regulatory requirements, and business objectives
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, regulatory affairs, and sales
  • Manage the product backlog and ensure timely delivery of product increments
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for technology transfer processes and methodologies
  • Evaluate competitive offerings and maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements
  • 10-13 years of experience in the life sciences industry, with specific focus on technology transfer processes
  • Demonstrated experience working with top-tier pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device companies. Been part of their Tech Transfer teams.
  • Strong understanding of GxP regulations, particularly as they relate to technology transfer
  • Experience with product management methodologies and tools (Agile, Scrum, JIRA, etc)
  • Proven track record of successfully launching technology solutions for life sciences applications
  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotechnology manufacturing processes and the challenges of technology transfer
  • Experience with digital transformation initiatives in regulated environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Bachelors degree in a scientific or technical field required; Advanced degree (MS, MBA, PhD) preferred
Preferred Experience
  • Direct experience implementing technology solutions for at least two of the top 20 global pharmaceutical companies
  • Background in both small molecule and biologics technology transfer
  • Experience with manufacturing execution systems (MES), laboratory information management systems (LIMS), or other relevant platforms
  • Understanding of data integrity principles and computerized system validation requirements
  • Experience with cloud-based platforms and SaaS solutions for life sciences applications
