At the forefront of skincare and cosmetic innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled Cosmetic Formulation Expert to drive the development of cutting-edge products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • New Product Development (NPD)
  • Conduct research, design, and develop formulations for prescription medicines, cosmeceuticals, nutraceuticals, and dermocosmetics, focusing on cleansers, sunscreens, moisturizers, anti-acne treatments, depigmentation solutions, and oral supplements.
  • Collaborate closely with dermatologists to translate clinical requirements into stable, safe, and effective formulations.
  • Develop prototypes, conduct lab-scale trials, and optimize formulas for efficacy, stability, and sensorial profile.
  • Testing & Validation
  • Perform compatibility, stability, and preservative efficacy studies in accordance with ICH guidelines.
  • E nsure compliance with dermatology-grade standards and regulatory requirements, including DCGI, FDA, AYUSH, and CDSCO where applicable.
  • Coordinate with third-party labs for microbiology, safety, and efficacy testing.
  • Scale-up & Manufacturing Support
  • Transfer bench-scale formulations to pilot and commercial scale.
  • Support contract manufacturing partners by providing technical documents, including batch records, SOPs, and product dossiers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure batch-to-batch consistency.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain detailed formulation records, lab notebooks, and technical data sheets.
  • Prepare regulatory documentation required for product approval and certifications.
  • Innovation & Research
  • Stay updated with global skincare trends, new active ingredients, and delivery systems.
  • Evaluate novel raw materials, such as peptides, botanicals, and biotech actives, and assess vendor capabilities.
  • Recommend improvements in formulations for efficacy, safety, and cost optimization.
