Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Microbiologist Innovation Specialist to join our R&D team.

As a key member of the Microbiology team, you will play a vital role in substantiating antimicrobial claims for new projects. You will provide microbiological support to develop innovative products across categories, particularly personal care and surface care brands.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a global team of microbiologists, driving data generation, analysis, and recommendations around antimicrobial performance of personal care and surface care innovations. You will contribute to the continuous improvement of lab procedures and best practices while managing interactions with external labs and institutions on innovation projects.

You will also be responsible for maintaining and improving the microbiology lab according to global quality and safety guidelines, collaborating with fellow microbiologists to ensure compliance.

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in the FMCG or cleaning and hygiene product manufacturing industry, with hands-on experience in conducting antimicrobial performance evaluations using global standards like EN, ASTM, and ISO.

Your expertise in antimicrobial efficacy evaluation, combined with your passion for learning and self-improvement, will enable you to excel in this position. Effective communication skills will also facilitate seamless collaboration with global team members.
