Job Title: Technical Engineering Director

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Engineering Director to lead our firmware and software teams. This individual will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive innovation, shape our RDE portfolio, and improve the quality of our deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve product development timelines and quality.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize projects, ensure alignment with business objectives, and drive project execution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners, including engineering teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Manage and develop people to build a high-performing team, focusing on talent attraction, retention, and growth.
  • Drive cultural change by promoting a culture of innovation, diversity, and inclusion.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure optimal resource allocation and efficient use of resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in design, development, and leadership roles in embedded systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, product development life cycles, and DFSS concepts.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
