
Operations Coordinator

The Fundraising Operations Specialist is a multifaceted role that encompasses partial combinations of donor management, quality assurance, communications, and various administrative tasks as assigned.
Key Responsibilities:
- 1. Data Entry and Quality Control: Processes donation and recognition information via data entry, compiles donation-related documentation, and ensures proper indexing and linking with donation payment data.
- 2. Issue Resolution: Resolves donor processing product or service issues by clarifying the member/donor's issue, determining the cause, and selecting/relaying the best solution to resolve the issue.
- 3. Communication: Effectively communicates with Lion members, leaders, and headquarters staff/departments, and vendors to resolve concerns within set turn-around times.
- 4. Reporting: Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely submission of monitoring reports (MIS), including vendor MIS.
- 5. Research and Analysis: Engages in research and analysis of NGO or charitable organizations to maintain current awareness of industry best practices.
- 6. Compliance and Audit: Ensures compliance with legal and financial regulations, executes ad hoc reports as directed, and maintains audit requirements.
- 7. MS Excel Skills: Able to efficiently handle large datasets across multiple rows and columns, create Pivot Tables, Vlookup & Hookup, apply consistent formatting, use rules for conditional formatting, perform basic data analysis, filter data, identify and compute percentages for comparisons and other metrics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, social services, etc.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in office administration, account receivables, grants, etc.
- Ability to learn new processes and rapidly adapt to changing priorities.
- Comfortable operating in multiple databases with comprehension and accuracy.
- Proficient in MS Excel, eye for detail.
