Project Lead Role

We seek an experienced architect to lead high-impact consultancy projects and drive innovative design excellence.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of large-scale projects, manage technical teams, and ensure seamless delivery.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead project strategy development and execution, with full oversight of design and regulatory aspects.
  • Manage small to mid-value projects independently, overseeing design, compliance, and delivery.
  • Maintain accurate architectural documentation, ensuring client and statutory requirements are met.
  • Coordinate interdisciplinary meetings, set clear project goals, and manage resources effectively.
Technical Competencies
  • Perform thorough reviews of architectural, civil, and MEP drawings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and resolve design or coordination issues in MEP systems.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external MEP engineers, coordinating meetings to prevent technical clashes.
Compliance & Permit Management
  • Develop permit application strategies and maintain proactive communication with regulatory authorities.
  • Interpret and enforce local/national building codes, fire regulations, and municipal by-laws.
  • Submit compliance documents and manage technical responses to authority queries.
Team Leadership & Process Management
  • Mentor architects, drafters, and interns to ensure well-coordinated technical outputs.
  • Uphold quality standards for documentation and design integrity.
  • Develop and implement quality control protocols for architectural and MEP coordination.

We Seek:

  • Accredited degree in Architecture (Bachelor's or Master's).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience leading commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in preparing and submitting statutory documents.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and MS Office.
  • Experience with project scheduling tools is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and standards.
  • Registered Architect (COA) certification is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and process improvement skills.
