Senior Production Artist Job Description

The Senior Production Artist will be part of a collaborative team and have expertise in the entire Adobe Creative Suite, alongside proficient Excel knowledge. Mandatory automation layout program experience, such as EZ Catalog and Data Merge, is essential. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional communication skills and a deep understanding of the English language to ensure seamless coordination with Project Managers, Studio Artists, Clients, and QA personnel in various geographical areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and guide at every level across the team, production partners, agencies, and clients.
  • Provide leadership and deliver constructive feedback to direct reports and others.
  • Possess exceptional knowledge of print processes and methods with the ability to articulate their requirements and use that knowledge to guide internal and external partners to achieve their desired results.
  • Network with senior internal and external personnel in own areas of expertise.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Graphic Design with 5-7 years of experience as a Production Artist in a fast-paced studio or agency studio.
  • Excel and Smartsheet experience.
  • Highly skilled in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop production across print and digital deliverables.
  • Experience managing direct reports is a plus.
