Corporate Credit Analysis Role Overview
We are seeking an ambitious credit analyst to cover a varied portfolio across the EMEA region.
The role involves managing a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertaking objective detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry. It also includes managing end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings, covenant checks, and periodic monitoring reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of EMEA Corporate clients and undertake detailed due diligence of borrowers/industry.
- Managing end-to-end annual renewal of limits and borrower ratings as per the Bank's credit processes and procedures.
- Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.
- Preparation of sector reports and event-based stress tests of the portfolio as necessary.
- Support Relationship Managers/Senior Credit Analysts in the department on ad-hoc requests related to new transactions or other portfolio reviews.
- Audit management – Internal, External including regulatory inspections.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in fundamental corporate analysis gained in either a bank or asset manager environment.
- Minimum 7-8 years of experience after Post Graduation (CA/CFA/MBA Finance or their equivalents).
- Strong understanding of loan documentation and key credit protections.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg/CapIQ and similar systems.
