**Key Responsibilities of a Quality Control Specialist**

  • Inspect raw materials, fabricated components, and finished structures to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct quality checks on welding, bolting, cutting, and assembly processes in line with industry standards.
  • Carry out dimensional inspections of built-up sections, secondary members, and assemblies.
  • Monitor surface preparation, blasting, and painting/coating quality as per required standards.
  • Prepare inspection reports, maintain quality records, and ensure traceability of materials.
  • Coordinate with production, erection, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes/standards and client specifications.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in the quality management system.

Requirements for the Role**

  • Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil Engineering.
  • 2–5 years of experience in Quality Control in fabrication industry.

Essential Skills & Competencies**

  • Knowledge of fabrication and erection processes.
  • Sound knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, SAW, MIG, etc.).
  • Understanding of painting and coating standards.
  • Good communication and reporting skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
