Job Title: Sr. Accounts Receivables Representative\

This role is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate collection of payments from customers. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that all containers and bills of lading are released after obtaining proper approval and checking due or overdue collection status.\
  • Responsible for submitting invoices and proof of delivery to customers, resolving related queries, and coordinating with respective departments.\
  • Ensure timely follow-up on collection for due or overdue payments, and provide regular updates to management on outstanding balances.\
  • Generate weekly and monthly outstanding reports, circulate them to relevant stakeholders, and conduct subsequent review calls to discuss payment arrangements.\
  • Collaborate with the general ledger team to resolve bank reconciliation open items and ensure accurate accounting records.\
  • Perform quarterly TDS certificate follow-ups with customers and reconcile any discrepancies in a timely manner.\
  • Conduct customer reconciliations in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.\
  • Oversee the final settlement of customer accounts, including full and final settlements.\
  • Circulate customer balance confirmations quarterly, ensuring that debts are collected within the shortest time possible while meeting internal and external audit requirements.\
  • Notify business teams of cheque dishonor, monitor collections, and circulate monthly tracking reports.\
  • Handle disputed accounts for pending collections, bringing payments in line with terms.\
  • Manage customer master blocking and unblocking in case of cheque dishonor, overdue outstanding, or inactive status.
