Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead agile release trains, working closely with program managers, product managers, and IT delivery owners to ensure successful project execution.
  • Establish program-level cadence and drive ceremonies such as PI Planning, Product Management Council, Scrum of Scrums, and release train retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with program and project leaders to define and refine the program backlog, ensuring cross-value stream coordination and collaboration.
  • Maintain metrics that provide visibility to stakeholders on program-level plans, progress, and quality.
  • Foster alignment dependencies between the program team and third parties, release managers, or between the team and other Scrum Teams.
  • Work cross-functionally to align strategy, methodology, and execution.
  • Coordinate delivery and assist the program manager in managing program scope, budget, risks, issues, deliverables, and schedule.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience working in a corporate environment.
  • 6+ years of accountability as a Program Manager - Agile.
  • IT-based project leadership experience/capabilities.
  • Ability to perform this role in an office setting or other company location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Agile Certification (CSM, SAFe Agilist, PMI-ACP).
  • Experience with Agile/SCRUM and/or Scaled Agile Framework.
  • Experience in a Project Manager or Scrum Master role.
  • Experience with Planview or similar portfolio management/demand planning tool.
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely.
