Job Description:

The successful candidate will contribute to revenue growth and innovation in Retail Banking. They'll manage client projects in the region, supporting clients' strategic decisions through syndicated benchmarking and market research.

This role involves in-depth discussions with clients to guide strategic decisions using insights and analysis. We're looking for a proactive, curious, and diligent individual who can play a key role in the Retail Banking Practice Area.

Main Responsibilities:

• Deliver end-to-end client projects including data collection, analysis, and synthesis of large qualitative and quantitative datasets to build strategic insights.
• Interpret market and industry trends to identify patterns, extract insights, and highlight emerging opportunities.
• Lead client and internal meetings effectively; address client questions/queries using data and content expertise.
• Understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions through proprietary tools, rigorous analysis, and customized reports or presentations.
• Work with case teams as part of BCG engagements.
• Ensure client and case team satisfaction and timely project delivery.
• Drive new ideas and work independently with limited guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to sustain and grow the program's membership base.
• Take on oversight and line management responsibility for junior team members.

The Lead Analyst will have high-level direct client exposure, which may include C-level executives.

We seek an analytical, articulate, and proactive problem solver who will lead the analysis and delivery process.

This role requires rapid learning and business knowledge development, with strong opportunities for internal career progression.

Requirements:

• Strong Master's degree in an analytical or quantitative subject.
• 5+ years' work experience in benchmarking, research, or business analysis.
• Some sector experience in financial services, consultancy, or market research preferred, particularly retail banking.

Key Skills:

• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Alteryx, Python, Tableau, or PowerBI is helpful but not mandatory.
• Ability to interrogate, interpret, evaluate and model data to extract insights and answer clients' queries.
• Excellent analytical, rational thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Attention to detail.
• Knowledge of financial services terminology and concepts.

Non-Technical Skills:

• Engaging presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to run client meetings and handle difficult client situations effectively.
• Project management of high-value products, including time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to handle data and information sensitively and confidentially.
• Ability to work accurately and simultaneously on multiple assignments, sometimes under pressure.
